Effective October 13, 2026
Covered Egg LLC runs coveredegg.com. This page says what the site records about you, why, and who else sees it. The short version: we keep a log of visits and we keep what you enter.
Like most sites, we log visits: the pages you open, how long you spend on them and how far down you scroll, the site or ad that brought you here, your approximate location (country and state), the browser and kind of device you use, and a hashed version of your IP address.
We also keep what you enter into our tools and forms, including your email address, and a record of the emails we send you.
To run the site, to send the emails you asked for, to answer you, to see which pages and which campaigns are useful, and to stop spam and abuse.
We set a cookie that protects our forms from forgery, and the advertising tag described below sets cookies of its own. Your browser's local storage remembers a few choices, such as a pop-up you have already closed.
We don't sell personal information. We would hand information over if the law required it.
Email addresses and alert details stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe we keep your address on a do-not-email list so we don't write to you again. We keep the rest for as long as it is useful for running the site.
Every email we send has a link to unsubscribe or change what you receive. You can ask us what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, by writing to privacy@coveredegg.com.
Our pages work the same way whatever your browser's "Do Not Track" setting.
The site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes we will post the new one here with a new date.
